Book Two: Far From Home

 Daisie leaves for a farm in Massachusetts where
she meets the girl called Annie O. Together they are
sent to work in a cotton mill far from the farm. The work
is hard and the days are long. One day, Daisie goes missing.
Annie O must find her before the doll is lost to her forever.
